Loved reading this! I always like empties because it shows what someone is actually using rather than first impressions and then never hearing about it again. I haven't tried most of these, I did really like that bareMinerals Oil Cleanser but like you I think a balm texture is easier to use. Love the Glossier Brow products and always have them, I have got the Refy Brow Sculpt and Pencil too, while I do really like them, the pencil doesn't last too long. Love the Patrick Ta brow gel too. I've recently gone back to Soap Brows and I actually bought the West Barn Co. Brow Pen and Pencil. Have only tried the pen but it's very similar to the Glossier one.

Yeah I will always go for empties over first impressions, though I am definitely slower at finishing makeup products so my reviews are always a little skincare heavy 🤷♀️ I’ve tried Soap Brows and I just can’t really get it to work for me - my brows are so unruly and thick that they fall within a few minutes. Anastasia Brow Freeze works better but I see West Barn have brought out a stronger soap so I may have a look at that!
Yeah I just got that one too so I'm interested to see if it's better for hold. I'd say you'd really like the Refy or Patrick Ta then, they're very heavy duty!
Hi Valerie, I couldn't wait to read your latest blog. It's a nice Sunday morning treat. I just wanted to mention that I recently picked up the refy brow pencil in brown Thomas and I am pretty impressed. The packaging is really slim and sleek and the tip is very thin so allows for soft feathery strokes. I was tempted by the clear gel however as it was my first time using this brand I thought I'd just stick with the pencil. My only concern is that it won't last very long as I got a similar product from Charlotte Tilbury which lasted max 2 weeks! That aside, I am looking forward to reading more of your blogs in the future (maybe even some content on your haircare routine, monthly favourites, your experiences living in Dublin, favourite clothing shops etc). 😀
Thanks so much Caroline! I think with brow pencils I always just go for cheap and cheerful (the NYX micro one is v good!) but the Refy Brow Sculpt has caught my eye 👀 Thank you for those suggestions, I will try and incorporate some of that into future posts!
